When my daughters were younger, they loved Lalaloopsy dolls. They still have quite the collection and pull them out and play every now and then. I designed my Lalaloopsy Inspired crochet doll pattern for them and decided to make a cute purse for them as well! This little purse is a great way for little ones to take some belongings with them wherever they go. The actual purse part (not including the handles) measures about 5 and 1/2 inches tall and about 8 inches wide.
Both a 4.0mm and a 5.0 mm hook are needed for this pattern. The yarns I used in the purse pictured are Lily Sugar 'n Cream in Robin's Egg Blue and Camomile. For the Lalaloopsy's hair I used Red Heart Shimmer in purple and her bows are made with Red Heart Shimmer in hot pink. You can either use black embroidery floss or a small strand of black yarn for the smile and eyelashes. You can download the free Crochet Lalaloopsy Purse pattern as a PDF file below! Please share your pictures if you make one! I love to see what you all come up with!
My husband's site, Halegrafx.com, has some great free printables! He has an adorable printable Lalaloopsy Water Bottle Label which is a super cute way to dress up some water bottles and make it fun to drink water! He also has free printable Lalaloopsy Cupcake Toppers which can also be printed onto sticker sheets!
You can never have too many crochet supplies!!
